Three lengths.

One paragraph

Virumo is a legal IPTV player for Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV, with a touch layout for Android phones, tablets and foldables, all from one app. It plays the playlist you bring, from a provider you are entitled to use: it contains no channels, lists or links, and it never will. There is no account, and it collects no personal data. Virumo is in testing and is installed by sideloading.

Virumo is a remote-first player for the playlist you already have. No content included, no account, no personal data collected.

Long

Virumo is a player, not a source. It contains no channels, in the same way a web browser contains no websites. You connect an M3U playlist link or an Xtream login from a provider you are entitled to use, and Virumo does the rest: live TV with quick zapping, a programme guide, live rewind and pause, films and series, search and Continue Watching, all made for the remote in your hand.

It runs on Android TV, Google TV and Fire TV with a remote-first layout, and on Android phones, tablets and foldables with a touch layout. Settings include an encrypted backup and restore, a connection buffer choice, a speed tester and accessibility options. Video is played by your device's own hardware decoder, so what you see in 4K or HDR depends on your device, your TV and your provider's stream.

The core player works without paying. Some features are Premium, and Premium is planned as a one-off unlock code for your device, with no subscription, no account and no sign-in. Price and how to buy have not been announced.
